who collect email addresses for spamming purposes do so by sending out 'email harvesters'. These devilish
little web spiders can detect any email addresses that are written as a hyper-link on a web page [ie so that
users can click on them to open an email browser]. Many, however, cannot read an email address written as
plain text as I have done above. And for those spiders that can identify plain-text emails, you can go a step further by
showing your email as Of course, you have to trust that folk know how to make that series of words into an email address - which should be the case on an e-marketing site such as this one, but might not be the case on a site that targets less-experienced web users.
